Why Taunton Aesthetics?

Medical Aesthetics Nurse

As nurses we are constantly learning new skills and increasing our knowledge to ensure that we are maintaining patient safety and adhere to our professional code of conduct. Nurses are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and are accountable for the care and treatments they provide to you under this code. Therefore, we firmly believe that registered health professionals, with professional accountability to you, should provide medical aesthetic services.

I have undergone specialist training to use microcannulas for doing most of our dermal filler treatments to reduce the risk of vessel occlusion when injecting the face. Not only do cannulas reduce this risk it also means that you as a client have a much more comfortable time as we aren’t pricking you as many times.

I am proud to say that I am a member of the BACN – British Association of Cosmetic Nurses which is the largest professional association for nurses carrying out cosmetic treatments in the UK. This helps to ensure that we keep up to date with relevant changes in the aesthetics industry and It ensures that standards are safe and high. You can be assured that you are in safe and competent hands when you receive treatment from Taunton Aesthetics.

I am fully insured under Cosmetic Insure, a cosmetic insurance provider and you can be fully assured that I take your safety seriously. I also only ever buy products that are pharmaceutical grade and from reputable pharmacies only as we know that these products are what they say on the packaging.
