Mary Wilcox brings together clinical nursing experience, specialist aesthetics training and a calm, patient-focused approach to treatment.
At Taunton Aesthetics, Mary’s aim is to help every client feel informed, reassured and confident in their choices, with honest advice, natural-looking results and clear aftercare support.
Mary graduated from The University of Manchester in 2007 with an Honours degree in adult nursing. Since then, she has built a strong clinical background across emergency, acute medical and surgical care, working within NHS trusts and private healthcare settings.
Her experience as a nurse plays an important role in the way she approaches aesthetics. Mary believes treatment should never feel rushed or pressured. Instead, clients should have time to talk through their concerns, understand their options and make informed decisions in a calm, professional environment.
Aesthetics is a genuine passion for Mary. She has undertaken advanced training in aesthetic treatments to ensure her knowledge remains current, safety-conscious and focused on achieving results that suit each individual client.
At Taunton Aesthetics, Mary focuses on subtle, natural-looking enhancements. Her aim is not to change how you look, but to help you feel refreshed, confident and comfortable in your own skin.

Gemma Tibbs
Aesthetics Practitioner
Gemma Tibbs is an aesthetics practitioner and non-medical prescriber with a strong nursing background and a first class honours degree. She has 25 years’ experience as a nurse, including 17 years working in emergency care, where she developed a calm, thorough and safety-focused approach to patient care.
Alongside her NHS experience, Gemma has also worked as a cardiology nurse specialist, providing specialist clinical care while continuing to develop her private aesthetics practice. She has 8 years’ experience in aesthetics, including 5 years working alongside Mary at Taunton Aesthetics.
Gemma’s medical background plays an important role in the way she approaches treatment. She believes aesthetics should be carefully considered, never rushed, and always centred around the individual. Clients are given time to discuss their concerns, understand their options and make informed decisions in a relaxed, professional environment.
At Taunton Aesthetics, Gemma focuses on safe, subtle and natural-looking results. Her aim is to enhance, refresh and restore confidence while helping clients feel comfortable, informed and cared for throughout their treatment journey.
