Skin Booster Sunekos
Are you bothered by tired eyes and bags, crepe like skin?
Skin Booster Sunekos : Collagen and Elastin Booster
What is Sunekos?
It is a special formula of specific amino acids that are important for collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production at cell level. It stimulates our own bodies to produce more of our own collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid as the skin is now receiving the ingredients it was lacking to make its own supply. Did you know by the time your 40 you’re only making around 50% of what you need?!!
How does it work?
By injecting the product into the skin with a needle we are also causing trauma to the skin which in aesthetics we sometimes rely upon. A controlled trauma boosts the cells for repairing into action. Your skins natural defences will protect the environment around it and produce more hyaluronic acid as additional protection. More of our own hyaluronic acid gives us more fullness and the plumping of the skin action pushes out wrinkles and smooths crepe like skin.

SUNEKOS F.A.Q
What is it?
In a nutshell it is a natural mix of amino acids and non-cross linked hyaluronic acid specific for the natural regeneration of your own body’s collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production.
How does it work ?
It works like a nutrient specifically feeding your body’s cells to produce more collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid and fibroblasts. Each of these fibres, proteins and cells are what keep skin young, as we age we don’t make as many and so our skin starts to age. We are feeding the skin nutrients and in turn energy to make more younger-looking skin. By making your body make more we can almost turn back the clock – magic!
Is it safe ?
How is Sunekos different from dermal fillers and toxin?
Sunekos is an alternative to dermal fillers and toxin if you simply wish not to have any of those products injected. It improves fine lines and wrinkles by plumping up the skin with its hydrating properties and by encouraging the skin to build up more collagen, elastin and more natural hyaluronic acid within your own skin. Rather than chasing lines it works in a physiological way. It is not a neuro toxin so won’t stop the muscles working.
How long does it take to work?
Most people see an initial improvement after their first injection, but with a full course of treatment with the oral amino acids to supplement your treatment you will see results lasting up to 6 months and hopefully more. As this treatment works physiologically it does improve as time goes by, with most people seeing the full benefit at around 8 weeks post-injection.
Does it hurt?
As with all injections, they can be felt. Most people manage these injections incredibly well without an anaesthetic agent. This treatment does involve lots of little injections, but as always if this is something that worries you, we can offer some local numbing cream to help improve the comfort of the procedure.
What areas can be improved with Sunekos?
What are the side effects?
Some redness and minor swelling and a flushed sensation can be expected at the injection sites, but this does settle after a couple of hours.
Bruising can be expected as we are injecting many times and into the mid to deep dermis so we can’t see any little vessels which could be hiding.
What is the difference between Sunekos 200 and 1200?
How long does it take?
The treatment itself only takes around 10 minutes per area to complete, depending on how much we get chatting! If you are having local anaesthetic cream applied put aside an additional 20 minutes or so.
How much is Sunekos?
- One treatment area of a course of 4 Sunekos 200 – £450
- 4 Sunekos 1200 -£550
- 1 one-off treatment for one area of Sunekos 200 -£150
- 1 one-off treatment for one area of Sunekos 1200 -£250
- Oral supplements of amino acids, 1 month supply -£35
Will I look worse when my treatment wears off?
What if I am allergic?
It is very unlikely you will be allergic to Sunekos as it contains natural ingredients, but we can never say never. If you were to take ill in the clinic rest assured as two very experienced nurses within the medical and emergency field, we are fit to take care of you.
How long does it last?
My treatment results didn’t last very long!
Unfortunately, like every treatment on offer results vary from person to person and we can not make promises. We suggest you trying to boost the results by taking the oral amino acids or by having the course of treatment if you only had the one-off dose.
What shouldn’t I do after my treatment?
Most people can resume normal activity straight away as there is very little downtime, but we suggest you leave the area treated alone for a few hours to reduce the risk of infection.
We suggest for 24 hours no vigorous exercise, drinking alcohol, or exposed sun exposure succeeding your injections.
Who can’t have Sunekos injections?
- A pregnant or breast-feeding woman cannot have treatment.
- Patients on a course of antibiotics.
Can I fly after having Sunekos injections?
How long do I have to wait before my next Sunekos injections?
On average we suggest having top-ups between every 5-6 months to prolong the results of your Sunekos treatment, but there is no limit to how often you can have the treatment.
Can I have other treatments after/before my injections like peels, needling or semi-permanent makeup?
Yes, you can have a peel immediately before a Sunekos treatment as long as it’s done by the same practioner. If you choose to have micro-needling or derma abrasion its best to wait a few days before getting your treatment.
There is no reason you cannot have semi-permanent makeup applied before or after your Sunekos treatment.
